Books are the basic need of a student. It is well known that government provides text books to all students up to 10th Class, but for students above 10th class there is lack of such programs. As we are mainly college and university students we see that many of our friends are unable to buy their essential text books. To help them by providing books, on August’2012 we started a fund by collecting our pocket money, now this is named as “UTTORAN”.
• This program is mainly for the students of Higher Secondary class, Joint Entrance Apprentice, college and university..
• We use to buy old and new books by using our fund donated by our friends. Collection of old books and specimen copies from our teachers has also been started.
• Students are selected from different schools, college and universities according to their merit and economical condition. Applications for scholarship are also distributed at the beginning of the year.
• We provide books according to student’s requirement for the period of one year. A student can also keep the books if he/she needs to, but only after informing us and receiving our consent.
